We move the logic of sites and services from foreign no-code platforms to the client’s own server: n8n instead of Make, SeaTable instead of Airtable, plus a Redis cache. The business keeps working, while dependence on foreign subscriptions and the risk of a block disappear. Service costs fall several times over: for example, from $54–64 to 1,200 ₽ a month. Over a year we did such a migration for four projects: from 2 to 10 days each.

Imagine your Tilda site takes leads, payments and orders, and all the logic behind it lives in Make and Airtable. One day the card for the subscription is declined, the operation limit runs out mid-month, and the news is full of blocks on foreign services. If Make stops, leads stop arriving, payments do not unlock access and orders do not reach delivery.

Several clients in a row came to us with this question. We turned the migration into a proven process that we repeat from project to project.

Problem: the business rests on someone else’s subscriptions

- Paying from Russia. Make and Airtable subscriptions are hard to pay for with Russian cards.
- Limits. Plans are capped on operations and records, and business growth runs into the next plan.
- Block risk. If a service disables the account, all automations stop at once.
- Middlemen. Some integrations went through extra services such as Collabza, which is one more subscription and one more point of failure.

Task

- Move all workflows from Make to n8n without losing logic.
- Move the data from Airtable to SeaTable.
- Reconfigure the site’s integrations with the new database and add a cache so pages stay fast.
- Switch over without downtime: the site’s customers must not notice the migration.

Solution: our own server with n8n, SeaTable and Redis

We deploy three services on the client’s server (Timeweb or another host in Russia). n8n repeats all Make workflows. SeaTable looks and feels almost the same as Airtable, so the client’s team gets used to it quickly. Redis caches frequent requests, and pages open fast even under load. Everything belongs to the client: no subscription limits on operations, and data is stored in Russia.

How a migration goes: 5 steps

1. Audit. We go through all Make workflows and Airtable tables: what goes where, which webhooks, payments and integrations exist.
2. Infrastructure. We bring up the server, install n8n, SeaTable and Redis, and set up the domain and SSL.
3. Migration. We move the data and rebuild the workflows in n8n, then point the site at the new database.
4. Test. We check everything on a test or backup page in parallel with the old system.
5. Switch. We move the site to the new backend, turn off Make, Airtable and the middlemen, and give the client instructions on renewing services.

Projects in the series

AI design: an online academy, 4–5 days

An online academy with a member area, a course and a subscription. We brought up an Ubuntu server with n8n and Redis, moved all Make workflows to n8n and the data to SeaTable, and connected payment through CloudPayments. Before switching we tested everything on a backup page. More about the platform itself in the case AIdsgn: PWA Academy with a Course and Subscription.

Dates: 24 March — 1 April 2025.

Qbrick System: an online store, 10 days

A store of modular tool boxes. We replaced Make with n8n and Airtable with SeaTable, moved the CDEK integration and added automatic tariff selection, a delivery calculator for remote regions, 1C sync and address checks. As a result the store delivers across Russia, and the sales team no longer enters remote-region orders by hand. More in the case Qbrick: An Online Store with Automated CDEK Shipping and 1C Sync.

Dates: 12–22 June 2025.

Vitrina Jobs: 3 days

The project’s front end is built on WeWeb. We moved 6 workflows from Make to n8n, migrated the data from Airtable to SeaTable and set up WeWeb integrations with the new database, with cache support. Make, Airtable and Collabza are no longer needed.

Savings: the project used to pay $30–40 a month for Make and $24 for Airtable. Now n8n and SeaTable together cost 1,200 ₽ a month.

Dates: 16–18 February 2026.

Dr.Eco: 2 days

The site runs on Tilda. We moved 12 workflows from Make to n8n, the data from Airtable to SeaTable and set up integrations with a cache on our own server in Russia. Make, Airtable and Collabza are turned off.

Savings: the Make subscription used to cost $24 a month plus about $10 for exceeding limits. Now n8n costs 1,400 ₽ a month, and there are no more extra charges for growing operation counts.

Dates: 18–19 February 2026.

Stack

n8n — the replacement for Make: all workflows, webhooks, payments and integrations on your own server, with no limits on operations.

SeaTable — the replacement for Airtable: the same logic of tables, links and views, but the data is stored with the client.

Redis — a cache: fast responses to the site and less load on the database.

Timeweb / Ubuntu / Cloudron — a server in Russia and convenient service management.

Cloudflare — DNS and domain protection.

Tilda and WeWeb — the clients’ front ends: migrating the backend does not require redoing the site.

CloudPayments — payment in the AI design project.

What the business gets

- No dependence on foreign subscriptions and no risk of a sudden block.
- Service costs several times lower, paid in rubles: Vitrina Jobs paid $54–64 a month and now pays 1,200 ₽; Dr.Eco paid about $34 and now pays 1,400 ₽.
- No limits on operations: growth in leads does not require moving to an expensive plan.
- Data is stored in Russian jurisdiction on the client’s server.
- Fewer middlemen: integrations that went through separate services now work directly in n8n.
- Instructions for renewing services and a clear table the team works in on its own.
