Alfa Gambit Trading: An LMS for Traders

In this article, I will share my experience of creating the "AGT" website, which is ideologically similar to Skillfactory but differs in that it is built without code and is aimed at beginner traders. I will discuss the features of a no-code platform and provide an overview of all its functionality.

Task

My client, Alfa Gambit Trading, encountered the problem of effective trading education in financial markets: they were tired of manually forming groups and adding students, spending a lot of money on trackers that manage groups and check homework, and making many mistakes when sending materials to students.

During the project, we faced issues with automatic assignment checking and verifying the students' deposits required to progress to the next module. However, we were able to solve these problems through the broker's partner API. The deposit number was checked automatically via the API, and the deposit amount was displayed in the student's personal account. Based on the deposit, the system granted access to other course modules.

Results

Increased course completion rate by 30% due to interactive homework and achievements.
Training is now fully automated – the client no longer needs to manually add students to the group, provide materials, or accept payments.
There is no longer a need to keep 3 trackers at the school. Homework is now checked automatically, and results are recorded directly in the student's personal account.

Key Features

AGT is a platform for learning trading in financial markets. It includes courses, lessons, homework assignments, access to modules, automatic and manual homework checks, a referral system, and tests at the end of the modules. The training is structured in a game format – when a student submits homework, they earn points that unlock access to the next levels and achievements. AGT also provides profile functionality, support services, and a ticket system.

One of the conditions to proceed to the next module is to create an account with a partner broker and fund the deposit. We will look at how this verification is implemented through the broker's API. We will also examine how the ranking system is implemented on the platform.
